Design a logo for a parent company whose philosophy is based on a unique understanding of their clients. The name Dioscuri comes from the Greek word for ‘twin’. The founder of the company – a twin himself – wanted to convey the idea of two separate entities working together as one.
We wanted to look for a way to combine two shapes into one simple, yet interesting, icon. To do this we created an interlocking ‘D’ made from two separate letter-forms. When sitting alongside a bespoke type treatment, the result is a unique and tailored identity which retains a distinctive, strong look without resorting to being overly flash or showy. The muted grey was chosen to further the idea of the brand being a neutral canvas onto which the clients brand can be projected.
