We just came across this faded old printers sign on a lunchtime walkabout.
We’re not the first to spot it by any means, but we like it all the same.
Bring back the good old days of signwriting we say…
Tom and Phil.

Such a shame that most shops opt for the cheap option of a plastic off the shelf option. I go down Peckham high street on the bus everyday and the amount of activity and shops selling food from all different cultures is amazing. Yet the appearance of the whole street is tacky plastic with signs set in the same font and style whether the shop be a African/Asian/European/Carribean café or a local electrical shop.
Imagine if each store displayed their culture and heritage in the artistic way their products deserve and the way you see rustic shops abroad. Crazy thing is rustic is chic in England, and therefore expensive.
