Visionary

Last night I attended the launch of 2020 Vision, a campaign set up by our good friends at Planet Positive to highlight the issue of climate change through discussion and generating ideas rather than merely highlighting the negative effects humankind is having on the planet and expecting people to act.

2020

The event was a great insight into what the campaign is all about and how the guys at Planet Positive are working towards a forward thinking, happier and, most importantly, achievable future. The speakers on the night where the Costa Rican ambassador Pilar Saborio, Planet Positives CEO Steve Malkin and founder Guy Battle, together they outlined the plan to gather ideas and visions for how lifestyles can be changed by the year 2020 to reduce carbon emissions and bring about a more positive environment.

With a number of visions already from the likes of Lord Nicholas Stern, Zac Goldsmith, Bianca Jagger, UK Green Party leader Caroline Lucas, CEO of Eurostar Robert Brown and Willie Walsh, the CEO of British Airways, they are making a great start to the campaign, but this is just the beginning. They are looking for submissions from everyone (that includes you) as to how we can work towards a more positive and carbon neutral future within the next 10 years and beyond. We’re fully on board and encourage you to join us in submitting your 2020 vision. Get involved!

…plus they let us draw all over the windows, which was fun.
